Contract Analyst

Position Summary

The Contract Analyst supports contracts and budgets teams for clients of REJ Solutions by preparing contract documentation, maintaining databases, monitoring budgets, and assisting in procurement activities. This role ensures compliance with client standards while providing accurate reporting, financial tracking, and research support.

Multiple opportunities for this position may be available through various client contracts. Depending on the requirements set forth by the clients, the employee may be imbedded within the client agency, working in a hybrid environment, or undertaking totally remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepares and processes contract documents such as task orders and stop work notices.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date status and budget reports.
  • Updates company systems of record with contract and financial data.
  • Conducts research on historical data to support decision-making.
  • Assists with reviewing contracts in procurement and provide recommendations.
  • Reviews invoices and update financial records and budget reports.
  • Ensures timely completion of all assigned tasks with accuracy and compliance.
  • Provides administrative and analytical support for team members.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of right-of-way acquisition, land conveyance, and reporting in large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with commercial principles, property issues, and research methods in a design-build environment.
  • Strong skills in technical writing, reporting, public communication, and problem-solving.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, particularly in real property within construction or infrastructure projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Strong background in project and construction management with emphasis on real property.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
  • Experience in managing major capital infrastructure projects with property scope and strategy responsibilities.
  • Understanding of budgeting, resource planning, and project management in design-build or other delivery models.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills with consultants, contractors, agencies, and the public.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex issues and support effective solutions for ROW acquisition and land conveyance challenges.
