Position Summary
The Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, administration, and management of project contracts for clients of REJ Solutions. This role involves defining project requirements, scope of work, budgets, schedules, and contract provisions. The Contract Manager ensures contract compliance, adequate staffing, and effective communication with stakeholders.
The position plays a vital role in addressing legal and operational issues, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assesses project needs, evaluate staffing requirements, and assign resources across project locations.
- Monitors schedules and activities to support timely delivery of project milestones.
- Advises staff on assignments related to legal and property issues, ensuring effective problem-solving and decision-making.
- Oversees preparation of project status reports, including schedules, cost estimates, invoicing, scopes of work, and additional services.
- Provides contract oversight to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Supports project teams with guidance on technical, legal, and contractual matters.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of quality management, team building, customer service, and performance improvement principles.
- Familiarity with relevant federal and state laws, rules, and policies related to contracts, real estate acquisitions, relocation assistance, property management, eminent domain, and financial requirements.
- Effective communicator with diverse stakeholders, including management, employees, clients, agencies, and public organizations.
- Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Strong analytical skills to address complex problems and recommend solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Proven ability to analyze complex issues and support effective solutions for ROW acquisition and land conveyance challenges.
