Program Master Scheduler

Position Summary
The Program Master Scheduler is responsible for the development, integration, and maintenance of master schedules that support major infrastructure programs for clients of REJ Solutions. This role ensures schedule accuracy, consistency, and alignment with program objectives while providing timely reporting and analysis of schedule data.
Multiple opportunities for this position may be available through various client contracts. Depending on the requirements set forth by the clients, the employee may be imbedded within the client agency, working in a hybrid environment, or undertaking totally remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain program schedules aligned with design plans and construction requirements.
  • Correlate design activities with schedule elements, ensuring accurate duration estimates.
  • Update and verify schedule data as projects progress, documenting basis and assumptions.
  • Monitor and report on progress, duration changes, and scheduling risks.
  • Identify key schedule items (e.g., utilities, environmental restrictions, seasonal factors).
  • Analyze current and planned schedules to ensure reliability and consistency.
  • Identify critical path, longest path, and risks to schedule delivery.
  • Provide recommendations to increase schedule accuracy and robustness.
  • Support program controls and reporting teams with accurate schedule data.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, quantity surveying, or engineering.
  • 20+ years of progressive experience in program scheduling and project controls.
  • Expertise in Primavera P6, TILOS, Acumen Fuse, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in rail or roadway transportation projects.

 

Preferred Qualifications / Certifications / Licenses

  • Proficiency in advanced scheduling and project controls software.
  • Strong ability to lead schedule reviews, risk assessments, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with large-scale infrastructure program delivery.
