Reporting Analyst

Position Summary
The Reporting Analyst provides support in the preparation, coordination, and delivery of performance reports for client leadership and external stakeholders. The position assists in gathering, validating, and organizing performance data and supporting documentation to ensure that reports and presentations are accurate, timely, and consistent with agreed-upon standards. This position plays a key role in supporting the development of recurring and ad hoc reporting, including presentations, performance dashboards, business plans, and project update reports, helping ensure that decision-makers have the information needed to monitor progress and meet stakeholder requirements.
Multiple opportunities for this position may be available through various client contracts. Depending on the requirements set forth by the clients, the employee may be imbedded within the client agency, working in a hybrid environment, or undertaking totally remote work.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assists in the preparation and delivery of performance and reporting requirements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Supports the development and maintenance of performance metrics, dashboards, and supporting documentation
  • Collects, validates, and consolidates data from multiple units and branches for inclusion in reports and presentations
  • Provides support in reviewing program controls data (cost, schedule, and risk) to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting
  • Assists with drafting and formatting technical documents such as business plans and project update reports
  • Prepares data summaries, charts, and visualizations to communicate information clearly to a wide range of audiences
  • Coordinates with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather input and ensure reporting requirements are met
  • Maintains organized files, templates, and document libraries to support efficient reporting processes
  • Provides general administrative and analytical support
  • Assists with process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and clarity of reporting products

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public policy, project management, data analytics, or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in performance reporting, project support, data analysis, or administrative functions within large programs or government agencies
  • Strong skills in data collection, validation, and organization
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise written documents and reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working across teams

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Certifications/ Licensures

  • Experience with data visualization or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with project management software or reporting systems (e.g., Primavera P6)
  • Knowledge of performance reporting practices and public-sector governance requirements
  • Strong technical writing, editing, and formatting skills
